Zetes Estonia operates as part of Zetes People ID, the Zetes Group division dedicated to the secure identification and authentication of individuals. This includes the production and personalisation of high-security ID documents.
As a qualified trust service provider in Estonia, Zetes Estonia delivers services in full compliance with Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 (eIDAS) on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions. This includes the issuance of qualified certificates and trust services specifically for ID1-format documents issued by Estonian government.
By integrating card production, personalisation, and the issuance of qualified certificates within a single, unified framework, Zetes offers a comprehensive, end-to-end solution. This enables public and private sector organisations to securely and efficiently authenticate individuals while ensuring the highest standards of trust and regulatory compliance.
About Zetes

Acquisition by Panasonic
In 2016, the Zetes Group was acquired by Panasonic. It benefits since then from an enhanced financial stability to support consequent investments in new projects as well as research and development, in order to guarantee compliance with the highest market standards and requirements.
